If TO is still hanging around after the draft how would you feel about bringing him in? Right now he is still probably playing hard ball and that's the reason he didn't sign with the Bengals, but let's say he still hasn't found a home after the draft he'll start coming down in terms of price. At 36 years old he is still probably one of the best receivers in the game still and is a good blocker on the outside. He is still a threat opposing defenses still have to game plan around and pairing him with the threat of CJ he could put up big numbers. Plus TO is a big, strong receiver who can make the tough catches over the middle and still can stretch the field. Would give Vince a nice target to throw too and could teach our mini-TO/Boldin Kenny Britt the tools of the trade. Plus he could either be our #1 and have Kenny be the #2 or Kenny could be #1 and TO be #2.

TO still has a 1,000+ season left in him and after that could be a decent possession type receiver. He said he could potentially play two or three more seasons and I personally agree with that assessment. He obviously can still play by almost cracking a 1,000 yards with Buffalo and averaging 15.1 yards per catch with Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing him to him. Just some thoughts to consider...

Do I think it would happen? No, I would love for it too but we won't make a move sadly. I still think he winds up with the Bengals probably after the draft.

VY has been working out and studying all off season, if I recall correctly. He's going to be a top 10 QB next year, guaranteed

if we're gonna take a stab at head cases, I'd work Brandon Marshall

and before anyone says "we're good at WR" - that's pure BS

I don't want his antics anywhere near VY. He is finally turning things around and T.O. would just set him back.

I am probably one of the few posters who is on board for a TO signing. I have always liked TO. He is entertaining as hell, and unlike some other guys he has put up numbers pretty much every season, so at least he is consistent and works hard. My thing about TO is that he is a guy who not necessarily needs to be "just kept happy" but instead he is the guy who needs to be having fun. He needs to be around teammates who will keep him happy and motivated, not clash against him or isolate him.

In Buffalo, I doubt he really could bond with Edwards and DJ was not exactly a players coach. The Titans, however, have a team that I think TO could thrive on. He could get in Tweet battles with Chris Johnson. Vince, to me, seems like he would have the kind of personality that TO would have fun with. Fisher will at least be open with him and that will go a long way I think. Yeah he didn't have his best season last year. But before that he had three consecutive 1000 yard seasons. Then you have the injury season with Philly when he had over 700 in 7 games and before that he had five straight 100 yard seasons. He could contribute, and maybe bring some attention to the Titans, which is much needed.

I for one am willing to take a chance on a guy who needs fifty yards to have over 15000 for his career.

I'm glad at least one person agrees with me, plus CJ and TO are friends from what I understand maybe CJ can recruit TO to the Titans like Chad did for Cincy.

Just say no to TO. He is a locker room cancer. There is a reason why he has frequent flier mileage and a suitcase stickered up. Chemistry is important to a team.

Did you see TO blow up last year on one of the worst teams? He probably realized through age and the fact that no one was interested in him last year he better change his attitude and it looks like he has.

For one season the guys got along pretty damn well. That led to a SuperBowl where TO came back from injury to almost single handedly will the Eagles to a championship while McNabb was puking his guts out. The turmoil came after that and IMO was blow up by the media. People forget TO was on some damn successful teams.

Also, I have to support TO as a fellow alum of UTC!

To has been relatively quiet the last few years, in Dallas he was great. Romo was the idiot who was throwing the ball to his TE instead of to his open downfield threat. TO doesn't like losing, especially when he feels there are opportunities for him to make plays and he is not given the chance. In Dallas and Buff, if you watch any of the moments where TO seems angry and you watched the game then you understand why he's upset. Even when Buff played us. He was open plenty of times and Trent Edwards did not thorw it to him, un til TO and another teammate(if no one noticed) spoke to the coach. Then what happened. They got him involved with the long ball. The only knock i have about TO is the fact that in games like Buff when the qb is playing like crap, he tends to let up and decides well if he won't play, then why the hell should i. I would not complain if we signed him. But this is a dead thought since it would never happen.

Because picking up aging WR's at the tail end of their careers has worked out soooooo well for us in the past.

I'd say pass to TO, but he'd probably drop it.

Under the right circumstances I would give TO a look. I think if you can get him close to the vet minimum it would most definitely be worth it. In spite of what anyone might say about TO he is one of the hardest workers in the NFL, and you have to be to have the kind of career he has. There are far more good qualities in TO then people realize, mainly because his bad ones are so blatantly obvious.

With all that being said, it would have to be a very smart contract to protect the titans best interests. I.E. a contract that if necessary the titans could cut ties and not worry about cap penalties, or guaranteed money.

I also think this would never happen, mainly because some team will pay him way more then the titans ever would.

Chad Johnson? Yes. TO? NO.
1. Vince Young, Chris Johnson, and Kenny Britt are the franchise
2. Make Jeff Fisher uncomfortable but don't kick him out
3. Draft more studs on D
